Cafe - Vancouver Restaurants
Tri-ty Cafe (map, 130 – 8100 Ackroyd Road, Richmond, BC, Canada, phone: 604-231-8997) is a Taiwanese cafe and bubble-tea house located near #3 Road and Westminster Hwy in Richmond. The restaurant has trendy, modern decor, and serves casual Taiwanese dishes as well as a selection of teas, slushies, ice cream or yogurt shakes, and lots more. I tried the Pudding Ice Cream Smoothie (pictured below, around $5) which was gigantic and the perfect sweet refreshing treat for a hot day. The ice milk that they use is like a slushie, and I was slurping on the cold pudding and ice cream so quickly that it gave me a “brain freeze”.
Cooking Nerd writes (click here for her review, with some more photos):
At most tables you get this little LCD screen that continuously flashes food porn a la Tri-ty, making you wish you had ordered that noodle dish instead of the one you did, then actually making you order more. This is a great tactic!

Ezogiku Noodle Cafe (270 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada, phone 604-685-9466) serves bowls of hot, steaming Japanese ramen noodle soup. A bowl of ramen soup costs around $7.25 plus tax, and you can also order some appetizers such as pan fried gyoza dumplings. I enjoyed the Kimchi Ramen (pictured below), which featured the traditional Korean spicy cabbage as well as barbecued pork.
Ezogiku Noodle Cafe is located near the Vancouver main library downtown, as well as BC Place Stadium, home of the BC Lions Football team. It’s also a short walk from GM Place Stadium, home of the Vancouver Canucks hockey team. The restaurant is within easy walking distance of hotels such as the Rosedale on Robson, Westin Grand, and the Hampton Inn and Suites.

Bean Around the World Coffee (5601 Dunbar St., Vancouver, BC, Canada, at Dunbar and 40th Ave, phone 604-261-8188) is a small, comfortable cafe in Vancouver’s affluent West Side neighborhood (a short drive from the University of British Columbia). It is decorated with original paintings by Vancouver artists, and has a cozy lounge area with soft chairs.
The Cafe Americano (pictured below) was a real treat. And I must say, the tuna sandwich (also pictured below) melted in my mouth and had a good match of texture contrasts between the grilled bread and tuna filling. (The cafe also has free Wifi internet access.)
